I just find myself wanting to do a little of this, a little of that....I hate repetition. I could never be one of these ebayers that mass produces and makes the same thing over and over. I love these two sisters on there that make very primitive cross stitch items. They are just wonderful designs, but they make them week after week. I should be so disciplined! I know they do very well but I couldn't take doing cross stitching everyday.
I really hadn't started this blog to be an "art or craft" blog, but I feel like it's going that route. I really looked at it more as journaling. I guess art and writing are so closely tied though...expressions of one's inner thoughts and feelings. I guess I'll just go with the flow and let it happen as it will...
Like today my husband is going to buy me a new car. I've gone with him, test drove different ones, and now he has to make the final decision. I want him to...I hate decisions. I told him to surprise me. We have it down to three! A Toyota Prius(good for the environment...a hybrid), a Toyota Rav4 V6 engine(oh my, that baby has power!) or a Honda CRV....I love all three of them, although if I had to put them in order it would be RAV4, CRV, Prius. The Prius is nice and so great for gas mileage(60-70 Highway), but it will challenge me a bit. It's a little different and I'll have to learn a few things on how to operate it...I'm sure it will be easy though after a little while...it's just that initial fear of something new. Anyhow, I will let you know what I end up getting. I will miss my old '95 Toyota Camry station wagon....it was loyal and reliable...but it's time for a change and be a tad bit sportier! I think when I'm 80 I'll get a RED sports car!!! The older I get, the sportier I want to become! hee hee
See, I'm a dabbler....I like to dabble in art, in my possessions, in my pets, in my books, in my mind....I like that word DABBLE: 1 a : to paddle, splash, or play in or as if in water b : to reach with the bill to the bottom of shallow water in order to obtain food
2 : to work or involve oneself superficially or intermittently especially in a secondary activity or interest
Sooooo I will go play and SPLASH and see what I shall dabble in today!

WOW a new car, don't you just love the smell in a new car? Our Kia van was new in 2003....guess it will have to last awhile. I should have bought something that gets REAL GOOD gas mileage since we live 30 mi from everything.
I am still driving my '90 Honda Civic! It's like my baby by now and when we finally get rid of her it will be a sad day. My hubby has been making noises about another car but I'm in no hurry.
I am most definitely a Dabbler, too. I do something for awhile and then move on to something else. I'm always getting inspired by something I see on a blog.
