Her face came from a really neat Valentine's postcard I found at the Postcard show here a few weekends ago.

I like how her hearts on her wings pick up the hearts in her eyes. She has one major fault, but even faeries have faults I suppose. I made a big mistake and after I used the eyelets to put her together, I decided I needed to make her sturdier, so I brushed gel medium on her and sprayed her with Acrylic. Well, if you ever make one, don't do that! It just acted as a glue, so I can't move her arms and legs! Next time I'll know better..she was a lot of fun to do...and goes well with my toile in the kitchen as you can see!

See her up in my curtains! She is a little dickens!
I told her I'd prefer she live in the ivy, it makes her stand out more!

She certainly fits in in the kitchen with all of the red. Very clever idea. Glad you shared about the trial and error with the spray and all, I hate it when a project goes bad.
She's beautiful! I love toile, and strangely enough so does my hubby!! I don't think too many men would say they like it but he does.
Don't you hate it when you take that extra step in a project and you should have just left it alone! But I think she looks good even if she can't move.
Long Live the Queen!!!!
She is beautiful!
