Happy Fourth of July!!!
When I was little, this was a wonderful, fun day. We would get up early to prepare for our company. My grandpop would make homemade crab soup in a pot that would feed an army. Everyone loved his soup and he loved making it. We'd get steamed crabs, hot and spicy, and my dad would barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers. My aunts, uncle, and cousins came as well as my four grandparents and some friends. We'd go to the parade in town, then come home and enjoy all the food. Finally, we'd watch the fireworks at the local high school.
Hope you all enjoy the day and make some memories.

Wow your childhood 4th of July fun sounds very similar to mine. We would also gather at the school for fireworks in the evening. It was really a special time. Hope you are having a great weekend!
