I'm trying to walk more this spring, so grabbed my camera one day this week and took some pics of some pretty pink flowers and trees in our yard and neighborhood.
Then, I made a Pink spring birdhouse with some Pink Toile...and a pretty pink crystal doorknob for a perch. Just cut your fabric and decoupage away! Up on my Etsy shop this week.
Also, have added some more soaps with a new scent this time around...a Raspberry Lemonade that has become my new favorite for the spring/summer.
And lastly, I've just about finished my ABC book...will share one of my pages here that has pink on it. Each page is a an old doll, either a photo of one of mine, or a photo taken by a doll dealer who graciously allowed me to use it. This is Emma and Francine, best girlfriends...Each doll has a message that she wants to whisper...a whisper of a secret she hopes to share. I plan to save this book for my granddaughter...no, not expecting one any time soon, but one of these years...I hope she'll like it. I tried to make it tactile as well as visual...I'm thinking maybe as a little girl she'll enjoy feeling the velvets and trims or touching the old jewels and charms...but as a big girl, she'll find the little secret messages I've hidden here and there...hopefully, she might find something that will give her courage or hope or inspiration.

Beautiful book for your one-day granddaughter. We are expecting our first granddaughter in about a week. I have three boys and a grandson, so it's about time!
