Tasha Tudor Remembered

Today is Tasha's birthday and Storybook Woods suggested we share some of our Tasha treasures.

A few of her books I own...

I adore this book. I think the illustrations are just so gorgeous and it's one of my favorites. I have both a soft cover and a hardcover copy.

A lovely Christmas story that I put out on my coffee table every December.

Love this book called A TIME TO KEEP...the details she added are so captivating and endearing.

My childhood copy of A SECRET GARDEN...I didn't realize she'd done the illustrations until just a few years ago. A book I had to bring along wherever I moved.

From a tiny little old Prayer book I found in a very old bookstore, all black and white illustrations by Tasha...I keep it on the table by the guest bedroom bed...so sweeet.

A signed print that I have had since my boys were little. I just loved the colors and the warm spirit of childhood that it bestows.

My favorite...her Valentine Advent Calendar...Each little door opens up and has a love quote behind it. I know she loved quotes like I do.

I also have a signed copy of PUMPKIN MOONSHINE and an older Victoria Magazine featuring Tasha, but I couldn't find them last night to share. Hidden away some place hiding from me!

Such a wonderful life she had living her passions and enjoying the simple pleasures and joys in both the ordinary and extra ordinary. Her Corgis, her gardens, her children, and her art...she was an inspiration in just the way she lived her life and she will always be one of my heros.
