This is a special day. Sixty-seven years ago my parents were married. They have been "Dot & John" to their friends, "Mom & Dad" to my brother and me, and "Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop" to their grandchildren. I am blessed they are both still here to celebrate this day. My mom has had so many health problems this past year, I would never have guessed it. My dad at 90 is amazing and will still even play a little golf, but I have seen his decline as well in the past few months...now needs a walker most of the time. That said they both have enormous faith, love their family and each other, and possess positive spirits that I hope I can have at their age!!

A few clippings and cards from my mom's scrapbook....note the ***PINK*** details.
Some pretty pink old flowers I found recently... They measure 3 1/2" across and have a pink pom pom in the center plus a faux pink pearl. Old store stock in their original packaging. What is it about the old millinery? So sweet and pretty!
No stems on these, I suppose they were glued to old hats? I am not sure yet what I'll do with them, but think of the possibilities!!! Happy Pink Saturday and Happy 4th of July tomorrow!!!

Hi sweet Betzie, I too am so late posting this week. It's so slow and I know that is because so many are away or busy with friends and family. I hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th and be safe and happy. I see that your beautiful mother and father are celebrating an anniversary. Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Their wedding picture is so pretty and they look so happy. Your father is very handsome in his navy uniform and your mother in her wedding dress.
