Don't you love the smell of spring?? I smelled it today...a smell I'll never grow tired of...same with the colors...and the rebirth of flowers and new life. I made this little ATC card to celebrate it. I'm in love with "robin's egg blue" these days. I found an acrylic paint at Michael's with that name last week, and it was just the color I wanted. I painted both sides of a playing card that color,and I copied a pic of some robin eggs for the background. Then added a stamp or two, used metallic pens , sponged on touches of fushia Pearl Ex...added the word SING in a metallic pink and my tea dyed tatting again for a border(I love tatting). Plus, I found a little poem in my old nursery rhyme book about a bird, so added that too and my favorite polka dotted tissue paper. It was so much fun to make this! Now know why ATC's are so popular.

Also a pic of some yellow pansies growing outside...that yellow is just so vibrant!



My Cavalier is getting bigger by the day...I'm guessing she has six babies up there!
I can't wait to get the xray at day 54 or so to see what it shows. New babies will be so much fun! I'll be sure to post their pics. Here is a pic of her belly right now at six weeks!



Lastly this is my ruby girl, Rose having fun with my friend's grandson! Spring brings out the best in all of us for sure. :))
